Here is some information about me to give you a feeling of who I am and what I can offer you as a therapist!
I’m a friendly, social person and I love to meet new people and have interesting conversations. I am currently taking a degree in Computer Science at MacEwan University. In my spare time I enjoy fitness, cooking, motorcycles, camping and literature!
About me as an RMT
I absolutely love being a massage therapist! I assess a client’s specific pain and tension patterns, then apply the techniques that are best suited for the individual’s needs. The joy of my work is seeing my client come out of a treatment lighter, happier, and ready to take on the world again.
Though my style is mostly therapeutic/deep tissue, I often do relaxation massage as well, or a combination style if that’s what is needed. My approach to massage is slow and intuitive. I often explain that deep tissue massage does not need to be painful – it simply means going slowly, and giving the muscles time to relax so they can allow the pressure to sink to a deeper level. It’s very important to me that my clients are comfortable and relaxed during a massage, and I will always do my best to facilitate that.
My education in massage came from Alberta Massage Training in Edmonton and Calgary. I have the 2200 hour designation that is required by most health insurance companies, and I’m insured and registered with the RMTA.
I have confidence in my work because of the ever-increasing number of regular clients that I have, and the feedback and referrals that they give me. Give me a chance to show you what massage can do to improve your life!
About Mobile Massage
Here’s how it works:
- Please plan for the amount of time booked (60, 90 or 2 x 60 mins) plus 30 mins for set up, set down and discussion.
- I accept all major credit cards, cash, cheques or e-transfers as payment.
- I will end a massage at any time if I feel uncomfortable or unsafe with a client or the environment I am working in. Your signature on my client intake form indicates your consent to this policy.
- At least 12 hours of advance notice is required for a cancellation or change of appointment. If no notice is given and a client is unavailable for their appointment when I arrive, the client will be charged the full price of the missed appointment.
